Le Yrgacheffe (prononcez « Yirgachèffé ») est souvent cité comme l’un des grands cafés d’Éthiopie. Cultivé autour de la localité du même nom dans la zone de Gedeo, au sud-ouest de l’Éthiopie, ce café a la particularité d’être cultivé en haute altitude entre 1700 et 2200 mètres.
Ce café est particulièrement apprécié des amateurs pour ses arômes floraux, avec des notes d’agrumes et une légère acidité tout en restant doux et rond en bouche.
