Le Yirgacheffe (prononcez « Yirgachèffé ») est souvent cité comme l’un des grands cafés d’Éthiopie. Cultivé autour de la localité du même nom dans la zone de Gedeo, au sud-ouest de l’Éthiopie, ce café a la particularité d’être cultivé en haute altitude entre 1700 et 2200 mètres.
Ce café est particulièrement apprécié des amateurs pour ses arômes floraux et ses notes d’agrumes, tout en restant doux, rond et onctueux en bouche.
C’est un café très versatile qui conviendra aussi bien aux expressos qu’au café filtre ou piston.
